Dr. Takalkar organises specialists visits to United CIIGMA Hospital
Dr Suresh Advani Sir is India’s first and best-known oncologist. Dr. Advani has also been awarded a Padma Bhushan, country’s third-highest civilian award. Advani Sir is known to be the first oncologist in India to have successfully done a bone-marrow transplant. He transplanted bone marrow into a nine-year-old girl down with myeloid leukaemia from her brother.
Dr. Unmesh Takalkar conducts a quarterly visit of Dr. Advani Sir every quarter for one full day and provides free consultation to a variety of patients. Dr. Advani Sir is very impressed with the infrastructure and facilities that Dr. Takalkar has provided to his patients. Dr. Advani is also proud of the work that CIIGMA Health Foundation is doing towards providing free treatments to patients in need.
